Baron Beresford
The peerage title Baron Beresford has been created twice in the United Kingdom.
It was first created in in 1814 for William Carr Beresford , MP for Waterford (1811-1814). He was created Viscount Beresford in 1823. On his death in 1854 these titles became extinct.
The second creation was in 1916 for Admiral Lord Charles Beresford, one of the most prominent naval officers of his generation. On his death three years later, that title also became extinct.
