Basarab Laiota cel Batran
Basarab Laiotă cel Bătrân was a ruler of the principality of Wallachia in the 15th Century, repeating the achievement of Dan II in being elected by the Boyars as Prince on 5 different occasions. Also similarly to Dan II, he succeeded one Prince (this time Radu cel Frumos) on 4 separate occasions. Two of his reigns also surrounded the last period in which Vlad III (best known as 'Dracula') ruled over Wallachia. He ruled:
-In the year 1473.
-In the year 1474.
-Again in 1474.
-Between the years 1475 and 1476.
-Between the years 1476 and 1477.
