Bates Battaglia
Bates Battaglia (Born: December 13, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois, USA-) is an American professional hockey leftwinger. He currently plays for the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals. He was drafted by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, Sixth Round, One-hundred Thirty-second Overall. He has played for the Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes. Because of the NHL lockout, Bates Battaglia joined his younger brother Anthony on the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL on February 21,2005. This was the first time that he had played on the same team with his younger brother. Related Link:
