The naval Battle of Öland occurred on 1 June 1676 south of the island of Öland in the Baltic Sea. It was a victory for a combined Danish/Dutch fleet of 25 battleships and 10 frigates etc. under Tromp over a Swedish fleet of 26 battleships, 12 frigates etc. under Creutz . The Swedish fleet fled after the battle.
