Battle of Bereza Kartuska (1919)
Battle of Bereza Kartuska was one of the first conflicts between the organised forces of the Second Polish Republic and Soviet Russia and can be considered as one of the first - or the first - battles of the Polish-Bolshevik War.
On 14 February 1919 57 Polish soldiers and 5 officers attacled Soviet forces in the town of Bereza Kartuska, small city to the east of Brzesc, taking captive 80 soldiers of the Red Army.
