The Battle of Hypori, in which several Jedi were stranded on the eponymous planet where they encounter the mysterious General Grievous, who finally revealed himself. The only surviving Jedi were Ki-Adi-Mundi, Shaak Ti, and Aayla Secura
The Cerean Tarr Seirr , the human Jedi Daakman Barrek and Sha'a Gi were all killed. It was believed that the Whiphid Jedi K'Kruhk was killed as well, however this contradicted with other Expanded Universe sources in which he appeared that occured later on. This continuity error was fixed by the explanation that Whiphid physiology allows them to go into a coma-like state, during which they are able to heal major wounds.
