Bay rum
Bay rum is a distillate that was originally made from rum and the leaves or berries of the West Indian Bay tree , Pimenta racemosa. Other ingredients may be citrus and spice oils. It is traditionally used as a cologne or an after-shave. It was quite popular in the early 20th century; while still in use, it is no longer common.
