Be Here Now is an album by Oasis. It was released in 1997. While the album was commerically successful and acclaimed in some quarters, it failed to live up to the very high expectations that preceded the release. Despite its mixed critical reception, in 1998 Q magazine readers voted it the 13th greatest album of all time. When released in the UK, it became the fastest selling album of all time shifting over 700,000 copies in the first week. The album had sold over 1 million within two weeks. Be Here Now went on to sell 8 million copies worldwide.
