Berlin (band)
Berlin was both the name of the pop group and pseudonym for its singer, Terri Nunn. Berlin was formed not in Germany (as the group/singer's title suggests), but in Orange County, California. Their/her first significant hit was the synth-driven "Sex (I'm A...)", but it was "Take My Breath Away" (from the movie Top Gun) that became their/her best selling single in 1986. They/she had two other hits: "The Metro," which was later covered by System of a Down, Alkaline Trio and The Anix , and "No More Words."
Aside from Nunn, the core members of the band were John Crawford (bass guitar and keyboards), and David Diamond (keyboards).
