Bernard Bergonzi

Bernard Bergonzi (b. 1929) is a British literary scholar, critic and poet. He is Emeritus Professor of English at the University of Warwick.

He was born in London and studied at the University of Oxford. He had an academic position in Manchester before moving to Warwick.
