Bishop of Liverpool
The Bishop of Liverpool is the Ordinary of the Church of England Diocese of Liverpool in the Province of York.
The diocese covers the county of Merseyside and a portion of ?/Lancashire/?. It streches from Southport in the north, to Widnes in the south, and from the River Mersey to Wigan in the east. It's see in the City of Liverpool at the Cathedral Church of Christ in Liverpool.
The current Bishop is The Rt Rev James Stuart Jones who has been bishop since 1998.
