Blanket
A quilt is one type of blanket.
A blanket is a (usually square- or rectangular-shaped) piece of cloth, generally intended to keep people warm, especially while they sleep. It can be distinguished from sheets by its thickness and its intention; the thickest sheet is still thinner than the lightest blanket, because blankets intend to warm people, while sheets are for hygiene, comfort and aesthetics. Blankets are subdivided into many types, including quilts, duvets, and comforters depending on their thickness, construction and/or fill material.
Blankets are typically made of wool, while sheets are made of cotton - wool tickles, cotton does not.
