Block design

You may be looking for block design test

In mathematics, a block design in combinatorics is a particular kind of set system, which has some long-standing applications to experimental design, as well as some pure combinatorial aspects. Given a finite set X and integer k > 1, we consider a block design B to be a set of k-element subsets of X, such that the number m of sets in B containing x in X is independent of x, and the number n of sets in B containing given distinct x and y in X is also independent of the choices. Here k, m and n are the parameters of B.

Examples include the lines in finite projective planes, and Steiner triple systems.
