Blood Duster

Blood Duster are an active four piece grind/death/rock band from Melbourne, Australia. To label them as grindcore would be a mistake, though. Their music, while staying heavy and ridiculously fast, spans across many rock/pop/metal styles. The first offering, Yeest, was a straightforward grindcore album. The followup album, Str8 Outta Nortcote was an extremely catchy southern-flavored stoner rock album. Cunt was and still is the most intense and true-to-its-roots offering, with rythmic bluesy metal guitars and insane, seizure-inducing drumwork. The band are currently enjoying some semi-mainstream success after their rock/pop infused self-titled Blood Duster album and an appearance at the annual Big Day Out festival.
