Blorb
Blorb is the name given to a computer file format devised by Andrew Plotkin for packaging sounds and pictures to be used in interactive fiction games. The Blorb format is used in both the Z-machine and Glulx virtual machines, as well as by the Glk library. It supports inclusion of images in PNG format, sound samples in AIFF format, and music in the SoundTracker format. As of 2004 Blorb files are supported by all glk interactive fiction interpreters, including Nitfol and Glulx.
Blorb is named after a spell in the Infocom text adventure Enchanter.
