Bob Fitrakis
Bob Fitrakis is a lawyer and professor of political science in the department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio. Fitrakis is also Executive Director of the Columbus Institute for Contemporary Journalism (CICJ) and Editor of The Free Press, a progressive newspaper also located in Columbus, Ohio, which is published by the CICJ. Fitrakis and The Free Press loomed large in the analysis of the United States Presidential Election of 2004, collecting much of the data used in the United States House Committee on the Judiciary Democratic Members' report: "Preserving Democracy: What Went Wrong in Ohio: A Status Report of the House Judiciary Committee Democratic Staff."
