Bob Griese
Bob Griese (born 1945 in Evansville, Indiana) was a professional United States football player. He was a star quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers who was drafted in 1967 by the American Football League's Miami Dolphins.
An American Football League All-Star in 1967 and 1968, he was the only quarterback in modern professional football history to lead his team to a perfect season and a league championship, in 1972. Griese is a member of the American Football League Hall of Fame.
As of 2003 he is a television commentator for college football on ABC. His son, Brian Griese, played college football at Michigan and is now playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
