Breadbox
A breadbox is usually a metal or wooden container for storing bread. These are commonly found in kitchens for keeping bread fresh and in a handy spot. Breadboxes used to be very common household items up until bread started being wrapped in plastic and made with chemical preservatives.
The most common reference to breadboxes in more modern times is the phrase "Is it bigger than a breadbox?" when trying to guess what some suprise object may be. This is a popular question in the game, 20 Questions. Breadboxes were roughly big enough to fit one or two standard size loaves of bread. Roughly 12" wide x 6" high x 6" deep.
