Brian "Kato" Kaelin
Brian "Kato" Kaelin is an actor and former house guest of O.J. Simpson. He was born 5 March 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Kaelin achieved fame during the murder trial of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman because he was OJ Simpson's house guest on the night of the murders. He testified at the trial for four days, and was treated as a hostile witness by Prosecutor Marcia Clark.
He was given the name "Kato" as a child because of a character in a Bruce Lee television show, Green Hornet.
Kaelin attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire before moving to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in baseball.
He was married to Cynthia Coulter from 1983-1989 and fathered one child with her.
In 1998, Kaelin started a lecture tour called The Sixteenth Minute, in which he talked about life after his fifteen minutes of fame were up. Kaelin eventually tried being a radio talk host and working for National Lampoon on-line.
