Bright Noa

Bright Noa (ブライト・ノア))is a fictional character from a TV-anime series Gundam. He is of British descent and, when we meet Bright in Mobile Suit Gundam, he holds the rank of Ensign in the Earth Federation Space Forces. Bright's commands include the White Base, the shuttle Temptation, AEUG's Argama and Neo Argama, and Londo Bell's Ra Cailum.

During the One-Year War, he was in service on White Base when Char Aznable attacked an independent colony, Side 7, leaving him the only highest-ranking, able-bodied officer on the ship, assuming command from the wounded Captain Paolo Cassius. In Zeta Gundam, Captain Bright defected to the AEUG to aid their struggle against the Titans, and continued to pilot the Ahgama during Double Zeta Gundam. Bright was later made the commander of Londo Bell, as seen in the movie Char's Counterattack.

He marries Mirai Yashima in 0080, and they have two children, Cheiming and Hassaway Noa . Sadly, Bright ends up in a position that no father should ever be forced into - he is forced to, as an officer of the Earth Federation military, condemn Hassaway to death after Hassaway's capture as leader of the anti-Federation terrorist group Maufty.

Bright Noa is the only continuing original Mobile Suit Gundam character who appears throughout sequels Zeta Gundam, Double Zeta, and Char's Counterattack
