Brindas
Brindas is a village and commune in the Rhône département, France, 15 km southwest of Lyons. It is the location of a little airport, bearing the code "ICAO LFKL", near Lyons.

Brindas is often regarded as the second home of Guignol, a French children's puppet show. Indeed the name of the village is often quoted in parts of Guignol with that of the town of Chaponost. Additionally, Pierre Neichthauser , mayor of Brindas from 1929 until 1940, was also the puppeteer for the character Gnafron in the Guignol Mourguet theatre.
