British 5th Division
The British Army's 5th Division is currently in charge of the majority of regiments in Wales, the West Midlands and South West England. It has its permanent headquarters at Shrewsbury. Unlike the 1st and 3rd Divisions of the British Army, the 5th Division does not operate as a single unit, but has administrative control over a wide range of regiments, training establishments and cadet corps.
