British Virgin Islands at the 2004 Summer Olympics
The British Virgin Islands only sent a single athlete to the 2004 Summer Olympics, far fewer than usual due to tougher Olympic qualifying standards. That athlete was sprinter Dion Crabbe who competed in the men's 200 m, but failed to move past the first round.
The British Virgin Islands competed in 8 previous Summer Games. (1968, 1972, 1976, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000). The country won a silver medal at the 1988 games in Seoul.
