Broadcom
Broadcom Corporation is a supplier of integrated circuits for broadband communications especially massive high-speed networks including ICs for set-top boxes, cable modems, servers, and LANs and home networking devices. Broadcom also makes ICs for digital subscriber line (DSL), carrier access, and wireless communications equipment. Customers include Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, Dell, and Cisco Systems. Co-founders are Henry Samueli (chairman and CTO) and Henry Nicholas . Outsources production to Asian foundries such as TSMC, SMIC, Silterra, and UMC. The company is based in Irvine, California.
