Buck
- Buck is the term used for the males of various species of animal, including:
- some species of deer
- rabbits
- Tyrannosaurus rex (this use of the term was first used in the Jurassic Park series and is currently gaining popularity)
- It has also been used as a slang term for either a man (usually a young, sexually adventurous one) or a dollar (particularly in the US).
- Bucks may also be used as the short form of the county of Buckinghamshire, in England.
- Bucks is also a township in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
- Pearl S. Buck was an American novelist who won the 1938 Nobel Prize for Literature.
- Buck , the main character in The Call of the Wild.
- It is also a slang term for a repeat of an old joke, story, or fact, esp. by email.
