Didymelaceae
The Buxales are an order of dicotyledons, comprising the families Buxaceae and Didymelaceae .
Under the older Cronquist system the former was placed among the Euphorbiales, and the latter was given its own order, placed among the Hamamelididae.
Under the AGP II classification, which is authoritative, Buxales Takht.ex.Reveal (1996) is a family unplaced under eudicots. The name Buxales is is available if the family Buxaceae were to be elevated to ordinal status.
