Cádiz (province)
Cádiz is a province of southern Spain, in the southwestern part of the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is bordered by the provinces of Huelva, Sevilla, and Málaga, as well as the British possession of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea. Its area is 7,442 km².
Its capital is Cádiz. Its population is 1,140,793 (2002), of whom about one-ninth live in the capital, and its population density is 153.29/km². It contains 44 municipalities.
