The CBBC Channel or simply CBBC is a British television channel aimed at 6 to 13 year olds produced by the BBC under the CBBC brand. Launched on 11 February, 2002 it broadcasts from 0700 to 1900 on Freeview, cable and digital satellite, occupying the same bandwidth as, but a different channel position from, BBC Three. CBeebies is its sister channel for younger children.
