Cadwallader Colden
Cadwallader Colden ( February 17, 1688 – September 28, 1776 ) was a physician, farmer, surveyor, botanist, and a lieutenant governor for the Province of New York.
He was born in Ireland, of Scottish parents and died on Long Island, New York. His son was Cadwallader David Colden (1769-1834)
