Caprice Bourret

(Redirected from Caprice)

Caprice Bourret (born October 24, 1974) is a model and actress.

Bourret was born in Hacienda Heights, California and won the title of Miss Teen California at the age of 16. After growing up in Whittier, California she moved to the United Kingdom in 1996 to further her career in modelling. An appearance in a revealing dress at the 1996 British National Television Awards ceremony helped gain her public recognition. Bourret has become one of the UK's most famous models and is popularly known by just her first name.

Bourret has created several businesses; first marketing her image in posters in calendars, and then selling beauty products, lingerie, and swimsuits.

Bourret has hosted the series Caprice's Travels and Friday Night's All Wright as well as several award shows.

Bourret is now moving into an acting career. She has appeared on stage in London in The Vagina Monologues and Rent. She has also appeared in the films Hollywood Flies, Nailing Vienna, and Jinxed In Love.

In 2001 she released her first single, 'Once around the Sun' which was co-written by 90's star Chesney Hawkes.

In early 2005, she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK. Viewers saw her become agitated when other contestants implied that she was only taking part to boost sales of her products.

In March, it was annouced that she will join Jose Canseco, Bronson Pinchot, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, Janice Dickenson, Carey Hart, and Pepa on the 5th season of the VH1 series "The Surreal Life".
