Captain Crandall
Crandall, alias Captain Crandall, is a fictional character created for the Disney TV series Teamo Supremo. He is the virtuous leader of the show's namesake, a trio of preadolescent superheroes. He is willing to help anyone in need, and is often addressed by his teammates, Rope Girl and Skate Lad, as "Cap". His voice is provided by Spencer Breslin .
Little is known of Crandall's background, but for some reason, he believes himself to be from another planet (ala Superman). This belief of being an alien may be just a figment of his own imagination, as he pretty much looks a lot like his "Earth-parents". He has also often dreamed of being an actual superhero, which also seems proof that he isn't really the alien he believes himself to be. Strangely, he seems to have the super-powers he believes he has, as shown in episodes such as "Science Friction!" (wherein his skin turns purple because of extreme anger) and "The Gauntlet's New Gloves!" (where he lifts a large statue with his bare hands and then uses them to deflect the Gauntlet's fire).
Crandall's chance to be a hero came when the villainous Baron Blitz escaped from prison. Recruiting Brenda and Hector, Crandall applied for the "state protection" job over at the State Capitol. Since then, he and his friends continually save the state from various evildoers.
In the team's first encounter with Technor the Mechanized Man , Crandall received a special Level 7 belt, as well as some of his other trademark equipment (yo-yo, marbles, boomerang, suction dart, and shield). He uses these weapons whenever it is needed.
Among Crandall's catch phrases are, "Buh-za!" (his battle cry), "Rope me, Brenda!" (which usually signals Teamo's transformation sequence), "Teamo, scramble!" (a battle command that involves the team jumping into different locations), and "Indeed."
Family
Crandall lives with his "Earth-family", as he calls them due to his belief of being an alien. His father was only seen in one episode, but judging from his cameo, he seems to read the newspaper a lot.
Crandall's mother, whom he seems to get most of his physical characteristics from, seems completely oblivious to the fact that her son and his friends are the actual identities of the state's superheroes (or so it seems).
His older sister, Jean, however, knows perfectly well of Crandall's secret identity, and she is often helping him and his friends out with their cases. In just about every episode, she makes note that she wants a different career.
Unlike his teammates, Crandall also has a pet, a dog whom he named Action. Occasionally, Crandall signals Action to come help them, ala Ace the Bat-Hound.
Crandall's eagerness to be a superhero is perhaps influenced by other superheroes he knows. His grandfathers, Gordon and Nick, have revealed to him that they are superheroes themselves - the Silver Shield and the Dark Talon, respectively. An even heavier influence on Crandall is his boyhood idol, Captain Excellent, whose costume and catch phrase Crandall says inspired his own.
