Caractacus Potts
Caractacus Potts was the main character in the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Potts was an inventor who turned an old racing car into a flying, floating motor-car. His name is a pun on "crackpot".
In the 1968 film, the character is portrayed by Dick Van Dyke. In the later stage performance, Michael Ball got the role.
