Caringbah
Caringbah is a suburb of Sydney, Australia. It is adjacent to Miranda and Woolooware .
Caringbah features a strong commercial district, made up mostly of small businesses specialising in professional services. It is one of the central suburbs of the Sutherland Shire, as the President Avenue and the Kingsway both feed to lead to the eastern suburbs of Woolooware and the popular beachside suburbs of Cronulla. It has the Taren Point industrial area to the north and also the Captain Cook Bridge, which leads to the more densely settled St. George district and further north to the Sydney CBD.
Caringbah is home to Sutherland Hospital and three secondary schools (Caringbah High, Endeavour High and De La Salle). It is also home to world champion swimmer Ian Thorpe.
