Carnival Cruise Lines

Carnival Cruise Lines is a cruise line. Originally an independent company founded in 1972 by Ted Arison and is now a publicly traded company with Micky Arison as the Chairman, it is now a "brand" within Carnival Corporation & Plc, which owns a number of different cruise lines and has become the largest corporation in the cruise industry.

Carnival was a pioneer in the concept of cheaper and shorter cruises. While some may consider its ships to fall short of the luxury of a Holland America or Silversea vessel, they are both popular and profitable. This was underscored in 1996 when Carnival launched the Carnival Destiny displacing 101,000 tons, the largest passenger ship in the world at the time, and rivaling aircraft carriers for size.

Ships:

  • Carnival Conquest
  • Carnival Destiny
  • Carnival Glory
  • Carnival Legend
  • Carnival Miracle
  • Carnival Pride
  • Carnival Spirit
  • Carnival Triumph
  • Carnival Victory

Carnival Valor

  • Celebration
  • Ecstasy
  • Elation
  • Fantasy
  • Fascination
  • Holiday
  • Imagination
  • Inspiration
  • Paradise
  • Sensation
