Carolyn Franklin
Carolyn Franklin is the younger sister of soul music singer Aretha Franklin, she was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 13, 1944.
She recorded in her own right, serving as one of Aretha Franklin's backing vocalists for some years as well as writing some of her songs, including Aint No Way and the 1973 hit Angel.
She died in Detroit in 2002, as did her sister Erma, from cancer.
