Cascade Brewery is the oldest brewery in Australia. It is based in South Hobart, Tasmania. The brewery was founded in 1824 by Peter Degraves, an entrepeneur who emigrated from England. It is now owned by Foster's Group. The animal featured on the logo is the now extinct Tasmanian tiger.
Cascade produces a range of beers, homebrew supplies and non-alcoholic beverages including apple juice, blackcurrant syrup & carbonated beverages.
Beers
- Cascade Premium Lager is an american-style lager, with a distinct spicy flavour.
- Cascade Premium Light is a low-alcohol lager.
- Cascade Pale Ale is an English pale ale.
- Cascade Draught is draught beer. It is only available in Tasmania.
- Cascade Extra Stout is a stout beer.
Cascade also produce seasonal beers in the Four Seasons range
