Cash Money Records

Cash Money Records is a hip hop music record label based out of New Orleans, Louisiana.

It was co-founded by brothers Ronald "Suga Slim" Williams and Brian "Baby" Williams in 1991. By the end of the 1990s, it was the preeminent label in Southern rap. Its biggest stars were the members of the Hot Boys: Juvenile, Lil Wayne, The B.G., and Turk. Baby and Cash Money's in-house producer Mannie Fresh were also popular recording artists, both as solo artists and as a group, the Big Tymers. Other artists on the label include 1980s star Teena Marie, Lil Mo, and former R. Kelly protégé Gotti.

Cash Money Records is a subsidiary of the Universal Motown Records Group.
