Cassandra Claire
Cassandra Claire is an author of fanfiction, particularly noted for her creation of the Very Secret Diaries, a series of satirical slash fiction stories written in the form of diary entries by various characters in the Lord of the Rings movies following the release of The Fellowship of the Ring. The Very Secret Diaries were widely read both within and outside of the fanfiction community, and were something of a brief internet fad. Claire wrote a handful more stories with the release of The Two Towers, but then abandoned the series.
Her first fandom was that of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. Since she published her first fanfic, Draco Dormiens, in 2000 she has been active and somewhat infamous in the Harry Potter fanfiction community. An accusation that she was plagiarizing, though later resolved, led to a schism in the fandom and to Claire leaving the fanfiction.net website for FictionAlley.org , an HP-specific archive. She is considered one of the original Harry Potter Big Name Fans, and is almost solely responsible for the fanon black leather pants version of Draco Malfoy. She has since been the subject of much controversy in the fandom and of much fandom wank.

They are written with roughly the same style and tone as Rowling's books, though Claire writes from the point of view of several characters rather than just Harry and her writing features a greater level of sexuality and lower level of whimsicality.
Draco Dormiens
In "Draco Dormiens," Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy are turned into each other through Polyjuice Potion, due to an accident in Potions class, causing them to end up living each other's lives.

Trivia
- In "Draco Dormiens," it is shown that Malfoy Manor, the residence of the Malfoy family, is near Chipping Sodbury. Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling was born in Chipping Sodbury.
