Category:Provincial Court Districts of Sweden
The Provincial Court Districts (tingslag) historically represented the first level division in the court system in the Provinces of Sweden. In Götaland and Svealand the hundreds (härad or hundare) had earlier been served by tribal courts (ting). In those parts of the country which did not have hundreds the court districts also represented the basic division of the province.
