"Religious philosophy ", referred to here as "Religious Standpoint Philosophy", is the explanation of the meanings and justifications behind fundamental religious claims. It is particularly interested in the nature and existence of God (or gods, or the divine).
It should not be confused with the "philosophy of religion", which critically examines the religions of the world, their justifications, meanings, social purposes, and claims.
