Catmon, Cebu
Catmon is a municipality located in the province of Cebu in the Philippines. It is located 57 kilometers from the Cebu City next to the town of Carmen . It is composed of 27 barangays. Tore , Cebu's second highest peak, is located here situated in barangay Cambangkaya .
According to the old tales, people of Cambangkaya was part of the Datu Lapu-Lapu's tribes in Mactan island of the 16th century. They tried to avoid the Spaniards after the death of the chieftain of Mactan sometime in 1560.
