Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change
The Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change is a non-profit organization based in Arizona. Its stated purpose is to "disseminate factual reports and sound commentary on new developments in the world-wide scientific quest to determine the climatic and biological consequences of the ongoing rise in the air's CO2 content." The center publishes CO2 Science Magazine.
The centre was founded and is run by Craig D Idso, son of Sherwood B Idso and Sherwood's son Keith E Idso. They came from backgrounds in agriculture, and became involved in the debate over global warming through their study of plant response to elevated CO2 levels and carbon sequestration. The Center is generally critical of the position of the IPCC and is of a strongly skeptical bent - proclaiming There Has Been No Net Global Warming for the Past 70 Years. Note that their first piece of evidence for this - the lack of warming in the Satellite temperature record - is no longer true.
As of 2005, the website is no longer free, because grants and donations to the site have declined dramatically [1].
