Change of Heart (band)
Change of Heart were a Canadian alternative rock band. Although they were one of Canada's most influential bands in the genre, they only had one mainstream Top 40 hit, "There You Go" in 1992 -- and, oddly, even that was only a hit in Saskatchewan.
Over the course of the group's lifespan, its members included vocalist Ian Blurton, drummers Ron Duffy , Glenn Milchem and John Richardson , bassists Rob Taylor and John Borra , percussionist Mike Armstrong , and keyboardist Bernard Maiezza .
The band had a diverse, genre-defying sound similar to that of King Cobb Steelie, but wrote and played somewhat more conventionally structured power pop songs than KCS did (although not all of Change of Heart's songs fit that description.)
Change of Heart broke up in 1997 after their tour to support Steelteeth. Blurton, the band's singer and main songwriter, went on to form the bands Blurtonia and C'Mon .
