Charlie Haas

Charlie Haas (born March 27, 1972) is an American professional wrestler on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)'s Smackdown! show. He was born in Edmond, Oklahoma, USA. Charlie spent much of his wrestling career as a tag team specialist.

Both he and his brother, Russ, were signed by WWE to developmental contracts but in late 2001 Russ passed away and now Charlie Haas honors him by putting the name "Russ" on his wrist tape.

Haas joined WWE with Shelton Benjamin in 2003 as Team Angle, with former Olympic wrestler and former WWE champion Kurt Angle as their mentor. After splitting with Angle, the two referred to themselves as the Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Tag-Team and won the WWE Tag Team Championship on numerous occasions until they were separated when Benjamin was moved from Smackdown! to WWE RAW. Haas paired up with Rico and his valet Miss Jackie to win the tag team titles once again. The team became a dominating force due to the great tandem with the charismatic Rico, but not until they lose to The Dudleys. Since the WWE released Rico, Charlie break out on his own again (but still assisted by Miss Jackie).

Charlie and Jackie struck up a real life relationship and are now set to marry.

Currently, Charlie teamed up with Hardcore Holly, since then he turned out to be as a nasty freak whenever he step inside the ring courtesy to the influence of his new partner, Holly.
