Charlie the Tuna
Charlie the Tuna was the cartoon mascot for Star Kist tuna, and he also appeared on many of his product's television commercials.
Animated cartoon commercials depicted Charlie as a beatnik wearing a beret, who thinks that he is so hip and cultured that he has "good taste". He is rejected from being hauled in on a Star Kist fish-hook — using the slogan "Sorry, Charlie" — since, according to the commercial, Star Kist isn't looking for tuna with good taste, but rather for tuna that tastes good.
Charlie was voiced by actor Herschel Bernardi .
