Chess-type problem
Chess-type problems use
- the standard chessboard or a variation of the standard chessboard
- some or all of the chess pieces
- some or all of the rules of chess
However, chess-type problems may contain board setups that do not occur in an ordinary chess game.
Many of these problems are now available as puzzles one can solve on the computer.
