Chibi Trunks

Trunks is a fictional character in the manga Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z, and the anime Dragon Ball Z. He is the Human-Saiyan Halfbreed son of Bulma and Vegeta. For Trunks of the Future see Mirai Trunks.

Biography

First apears in the Androids Saga of Dragon Ball Z as a new born baby. In the Fusion Saga, he and his best friend Son Goten fight Buu, both separately, and by joining together into the temporarily-fused being Gotenks. Trunks can be a bit of a spoiled brat at times, but does care for his family and Goten deep down.

He achieves the stage of Super Saiyan far earlier than his 'brother' Mirai no Trunks (Trunks of the Future). When taken along with Goten's massive natural power level, it is fanon that the father's power level at time of conception determines the child's power, since the alternate Vegeta who sired Mirai Trunks was weaker than the one who fathered this Trunks.

He later grows up in Dragon Ball GT, becomes president of the Capsule Crop, and helps Goku and Pan try to finds the Black Star Dragonballs before finally being pushed off into a background character for the remainder of the series. Around this point he matured, mataching his future counterpart from the Cell Saga though he rarely fights now. Still he plenty powerful.
