Children's traffic park at Shivaji Garden
The idea of the Children's Traffic Park was conceived by Rtn. Dr. Ajit D. Kulkarni of Rotary Club of Belgaum. The idea received an overwhelming response from the citizens of Belgaum, and was supported with unmatched enthusiasm. It was taken up during the presidentship of Rtn. Dr. Ajit in 2003-04.
The park has now been opened to the public. The aim is to create an awareness among the younger generation about the traffic rules and safety.
Children upto the age of 12 have been encouraged to use this facility. It involves fun, and at the same time education.
