Chris Daugherty

Chris Daugherty (born August 29, 1970) is the winner of Survivor: Vanuatu and won $1,000,000 on December 12, 2004. He also earned the title of "Sole Survivor" on December 12, 2004. According to CBS, Chris Daugherty is the most popular survivor from the Vanuatu installment ([1]). In episode 1, Chris's Lopevi had a huge lead in the first challenge until he failed to cross the balance beam. However he was saved in Tribal Council when the elder alliance voted out Brook. In episode 11, Chris was the only man left with 6 women. Because Chris was next to be voted out based on Ami's female alliance, the odds of him surviving were slim, but when Twila offered to bring him into her alliance with Scout and Eliza, Chris accepted, and the alliance held. Leann was voted out, which caused Ami's alliance to crumble (after Leann was voted out Ami was voted out, leaving Julie as the only one from Ami's orginal alliance.) Chris told both Julie and Eliza that he would take them further in the game, but he ended up backstabbing both of them in order to make it to the final two. Chris picked Twila because he thought he would have a better chance of winning with someone not popular next to him in the final two, and he was right.
