Chris Holmes

Chris Holmes (Christopher John Holmes) born in Glendale, California, grew up in Pasadena, California. Together with Blackie Lawless he was one the founding members of the heavy metal band W.A.S.P.. He left and joined the band a few times.

He is famous for his antics. In the documentary "Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years" directed by Penelope Spheeris, he is drunk, pouring vodka over himself while his mother is looking at him. In the book "Bang Your Head : The Rise and Fall of Heavy Metal" Chris is also mentioned numerous times.

The song "Mean Man" of The Headless Children album is a tribute to Chris Holmes. He left W.A.S.P. after the Headless Children tour and played in a band called Psycho Squad. He also played for Animal (with Randy Piper), Sister, Lax, and Slave.

He also did some construction work apart from being a musician. He was married to Lita Ford.
